Vol. 11 No. 23 (2022): Guerra irregular en la Edad Contemporánea

The coeditors and authors of the issue aim to offer a general but also detailed approach to different events and processes of military history portraying the main elements of irregular wars. These are mainly clashes between unequal forces due to aspects realted to technology or a different perception of warfare, that anyway expose an imbalance and bring face to face a State's army (instructed, bureaucratized and organized according to specific military characteristicts) against asymmetrical and non conventional forces, whether guerrillas, violent groups or stateless armies.
